遵義醫科大學附屬醫院是國家衛生健康委員會與貴州省人民政府共建高校的直屬附屬醫院，前身是大連醫學院附屬醫院，1969年為支援三線建設舉院南遷，是貴州省首家三級甲等綜合醫院，是國家疑難病癥診治能力提升工程（惡性腫瘤早期診斷與精準治療方向）建設單位。
醫院現有建筑面積31萬平方米，編制床位2000張，開放床位2800張，設有17個部（處）、8個?？漆t院，53個臨床科室、12個醫技科室。醫院擁有國家臨床重點?？?個，省級臨床重點?？疲▽W科）22個，國家級培訓基地11個，省級醫療控制中心10個，省級?？婆嘤柣?1個；擁有PET-CT、達芬奇機器人等高端醫療裝備。
醫院現有在崗職工4269人，其中高級職稱817人，有國家“創新人才推進計劃”中青年科技創新領軍人才1人、新世紀百千萬人才工程國家級人選1人、教育部新世紀優秀人才2人、省“十、百”層次創新型人才4人、省優秀青年科技人才13人；有國家衛生健康委（衛生部）突出貢獻中青年專家4人，享受國務院特殊津貼17人，省政府特殊津貼11人，省核心專家及省管專家17人。
醫療方面，醫院致力于開展新技術、新項目，以穿支皮瓣技術、頸椎微創技術等在國內處于領先地位，消化道內鏡早癌篩查、神經內鏡等技術在西南處于領先水平。醫院高度重視器官捐獻與移植工作，是貴州省唯一一家具備心臟移植資質的醫療機構，也是省內擁有大器官移植資質最多的醫院。至今累計完成器官捐獻237例，獲取大器官699枚；完成腎臟移植299例，肝臟移植100例。醫院在2021年公布的2019年國家三級公立醫院績效考核國家監測排名保持A+等次。
教學方面，醫院為首批國家臨床教學培訓示范中心，臨床技能實驗教學中心是國家級實驗教學示范中心，是國家醫師資格考試實踐技能考試（臨床類別）基地。醫院擁有專業學位博士學位授權點1個（臨床醫學），一級學科碩士學位授權點和專業學位授權點各2個（臨床醫學、護理學）。醫院擁有國家?？漆t師規范化培訓專業基地3個（心血管病學、普通外科學、小兒麻醉學），國家住院醫師規范化培訓專業基地25個，其中全國住培重點專業基地3個（內科、急診科、全科專業基地）。
科研方面，醫院擁有國家臨床研究中心分中心3個、省重點實驗室2個、省臨床醫學研究中心3個、省部共建協同創新中心1個、省“2011協同創新中心”2個、省人才基地2個、省科技創新人才團隊14個、省高校特色重點實驗室和工程研究中心4個和省高等學?？萍紕撔氯瞬艌F隊5個。近5年來，醫院累計獲批國家自然科學基金143項；獲省部級科技成果獎勵25項，其中省科技進步一等獎3項，獲國家發明專利42件。2021年，醫院有11個學科進入中國醫院科技量值(STEM)2020排行榜全國百強。其中，燒傷外科學排名全國29位、結核病學排名全國31位、整形外科學排名全國45位。燒傷科、整形外科、全科醫學科獲得全國醫院?？坡曌u復旦排行榜提名。

Introduction to Affiliated Hospital of
Zunyi Medical University
The Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University (AHZMU) is a hospital directly affiliated to Zunyi Medical University, a university co-sponsored by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China (NHC) and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. Our history dates back to 1969 when Dalian Medical College relocated southward to actively respond to the initiative of the Third Front Construction. We are the first top tertiary comprehensive hospital in Guizhou Province and are designated as the pioneering institution of the national project of improving the diagnosis and treatment capacity of complex diseases, especially for early diagnosis and precise treatment of malignant tumor.
AHZMU has a total construction area of 310,000 square meters,2000 licenced beds for patients and is able to provide another 800 beds if necessary. We are comprised of 17 administrative departments, 8 specialized hospital, 53 clinical departments and 12 medical technological departments. Currently, we are undertaking 4 national key clinical discipline projects and have 22 provincial key clinical disciplines/specialties, 11 national training bases, 10 provincial medical quality control centers and 11 provincial specialty training bases. Highly advanced medical equipment such as PET-CT and Da Vinci surgical robots are all available at AHZMU.
Among 4,269 hospital staff, there are 817 staff members with senior professional titles; one staff was elected to Young and Middle-aged Leading Innovative Talents in Scientific and Technological in the National "Innovative Talent Promotion Plan"; one staff was elected to National New Century Talents Project; two staff were elected to the New Century Excellent Talents Project of the Ministry of Education; four staff were elected to Provincial Innovative Talents Project; 13 staff are Provincial Outstanding Science and Technology Talents; four staff are Young and Middle-aged Experts with brilliant contribution honored by NHC; 17 staff receive special government allowances from the State Council; 11 staff receive special government allowances from the Guizhou province, and 17 staff are provincial core experts and provincial management experts.
We are committed to developing cutting-edge medical technologies. We take the lead in perforator flap surgery and minimally invasive cervical spine surgery in China, as well as the early screening for cancer by gastrointestinal endoscopy and neuro-endoscopy in southwest China. One of our top priorities is organ donation and transplantation. AHZMU, the only accredited hospital for heart transplantation, rank the top in terms of qualifications for large organ transplantation within Guizhou Province. So far, a total of 237 cases of organ donation have been completed; 699 large organs have been obtained; 299 cases of kidney transplantation, 100 cases of liver transplantation. In 2021, According to national surveillance ranking data released in 2021, we kept A+ in the Performance Appraisal of National Tertiary Public Hospitals.
We are one of the first batch of demonstrative centers for national clinical education and training. The clinical experimental teaching demonstrating center was designated as the National Experimental Teaching Demonstrating Center and the Practical Skill Examination (clinical category) Base for National Examination for Doctor Qualification. We have a M.D. program in clinical medicine, 2 master degree programs in clinical medicine and nursing (National first-level undergraduate program).
The hospital owns 25 national standardized residency training bases, including three national key training bases for internal medicine, emergency medicine and general practice, and national specialist standardized training bases for cardiovascular medicine, general surgery and pediatric anesthesiology.
AHZMU is the branch of 3 National Institutes for Clinical Research. It has 2 provincial key laboratories, 3 provincial clinical medical research centers, one innovation center co-sponsored by the government of Guizhou Province and NHC, 2 provincial "2011 collaborative innovation centers", 2 provincial talent bases, 14 provincial science and technology innovation talent teams, 4 provincial key laboratories and engineering research centers in higher education and 5 provincial teams of scientific and technological innovation talents in higher education.
In the past five years, AHZMU has been granted 143 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and received 25 provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological achievements,which three were first-class awards for provincial scientific and technological progress, and 42 national invention patents.
In 2021, 11 disciplines ranked among the top hundred hospitals in China based on the Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM). According to the ranking table, burn surgery ranked 29th, phthisiology ranked 31st and plastic surgery ranked 45th. Burn surgery, plastic surgery and general practices were nominated in the Fudan Ranking of National Hospital Specialty Reputation.
AHZMU undertake social responsibility actively in major events such as the rural revitalization, eradicating absolute poverty, fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic. Ma Xiao-Wei, director of the National Health Commission,then deputy director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, highly praised us during his visit to AHZMU: "Nowadays, the AHZMU mirrors the achievements in the reform and development of national public hospitals. The level of medical technology, the degree of connotation construction and informatization have shown that the hospital is a modern large-scale tertiary hospital in line with international standards.”
